Yoga instructors work both individually and in small groups to encourage clients to rebuild the relationship and connection to their bodies, while practicing mindfulness and meditation.

We offer a special therapeutic yoga series that combines gentle yoga postures with elements of contemporary mind-body psychology, facilitating a deeper connection with one’s true self. This approach expands awareness, which integrates and reinforces the healing that Backcountry Wellness offers. Participants will be guided to explore life through different themes including “befriending the body,” “acceptance,” and “choice.” This validates each client's own capacity to embrace their wholeness, which is the ultimate goal of healthy living.
